A particle physics masterclass will take place at TU Dresden on October 16 before the DPT. More information here.

Laboratory tours

Physicists of the Leibniz-Institut for Solid State and Materials Research will show their labs to participants of the DPT on Tursday, October 16, 2014 at 2 pm. Please register in the DPT online registration form. Lab tours end before the opening talk.

Opening of the conference at MPI-PKS

The DPT 2014 starts with an opening talk and a reception at the MPI for Physics of Complex Systems on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 4.30 pm.

City tour

After the opening talk and reception, it is possible to participate in a guided tour through Dresden's famous Old Town. The tour will end in the Neustadt where participants can finish off the night in one of the bars. Please register for the guided tour in the online registration for the DPT.

Conference Dinner

All participants are invited for a conference dinner on Saturday, Oct 18, 2014. It will take place in the Alte Mensa (Mommsenstraße 13) in the Säulensaal hall from 7 pm to 11 pm.
